GOMarkets — Forex Broker

as in continuation to my review about go markets aus(GMA) on 19/10/2011, i would like to mention that GMA has refunded me some of my trades, giving me benefit of doubt. i am humbled and would like to mention a special thanks for their customer service as my harsh language would have pushed the staff over the edge(my apologies). opening the account was quick n easy/so was using the credit card to top up, 24/7 support, good cutomer service. "better than average brokers out there, but room to improve". thx

Had a couple of hiccups having my account approved but once it was set up all is good.

Trading platform is easy to use but Iphone app is not as good . have been assured new app is a few weeks away so hopefully an improvement

i joined go markets and realized straight away that they are a terrible online broker. their feeds are delayed and often they have service outages, for example firewall issues where you are not able to login into the trading system. they have terrible slippage issues because their feeds are delayed and by the time the trade gets executed, its too late, and any scalpers out there will have nightmares trading with their system, they are not a direct market access broker which is also not advertised. you might as well go through your money in the bin, if you are day trading with these terrible people.

All u ppl talking about slippage and fill time are wrong. The reason why it "seems" that order filling a bit slow is for the fact that Go is an STP broker. That means that your trades are directly executed with InterBank. This is actually a proof that Go has no dealing desk to play around with your trading in order to rob you dry. So being an IT guy, I understand what it means to carry your order straight through to other systems and back. The real and honest fact is that I gained some unintended profits here and there from this STP profits!

The second thing I noticed with the comments was some ppl's tendency to blame the broker for their inexperienced trading. I have lost lots of money trading forext at first with Go and with others. But finally, I started the positive bottom line after long hours of market observation and training. So my point is that trading forex is not something to be taken as easy. Rather, it is a science that requires hard work and experience.

I withdrew profits, they reached my bank in less than 12 hours!!

Good MT4 feed for scalping , I dont trade the news but the accuracy of the feed makes short term trading much less complicated.

First class service so far. Very impressed with time it has taken me to fund my account and the fact it was handled with very little fuss.

The MT4 platform compares well against my other broker with very responsive speeds for my needs and comparable spreads.

The spread on gold is good but the spread on silver could be a tad too wide but not enough to stop me using them.

I trade through GO Markets Netherlands office , very high level of support , very few problems. I will review more when I have traded for more than 6 months.

Have used Meta 4 with other brokers so will be good to compare over a longer time to make sure I give accurate review but so far I am happy and impressed

Tested with a deposit and a withdraw to trust the broker, very fast , took 36hours to receive funds.

MT4 fast and responsive to my orders.

Satisfied to find and use GO Markets, excellant customer service. Support from European office is very good.

I feel safe that my money is in ING bank as they have good reputation

I have to agree with Isaac, terrific spreads compared to most brokers I have used in the past . fair balance between positive and negative slippage and NO requotes.

The Meta they use seems to be reliable from my home in Toronto , most executions and orders completed in less than a full second.

Very positive experience with GO Markets, quick deposits and withdrawals. Money returned in less than 24 hours cant ask for much more

Forex traded for 3 years , 2 years with GO Markets. My assesment of GO is as follows.

The Forex product has indeed increased in reliability to such a stage where they are now comparable to various other high end brokers and have certainly given some others a run for their money.

All things do come at a price though, I was a huge fan of the CFDs they also offered but to fully incorporate MT4 they did this at a price which was to only concentrate on Forex and Metals and to scrap the CFDs.

The Forex offering has everything I personally need to trade with but as mentioned if they can bring back CFDs then it will be a very good broking house.

The Forex spreads are very reasonable but then so are alot of brokers at the moment ,my confidence is that I like the fact they take time with me and even though I am based in England I feel confident in the security of my funds with an Australian bank but they now also have ING in Holland to choose from which makes things very simple.

In conclusion a secure broker but would like CFDs to be relaunched otherwise I have to use 2 brokers which is time consuming.

Having been a member of GO since August I left once but came back to them. The spreads have recently reduced quite dramatically and they have really upped their game with service and customer care. I now actually feel that someone is handling my account properly not like last year when I used to speak to the same clueless guy on the phone.

They obviously aren\'t perfect but they have made a huge effort to improve and now I have much more faith in them especially with the lower spreads

Good, honest broker. Great service. No complaint.
