I have traded with GO for about 6 months, slippage is much better at GO compared to my previous Oz broker. MT4 works as it should do and is pretty fast . Iphone app is the standard Metaquotes app so is pretty boring but as mentioned Go's MT4 works well and the deposits and withdrawals are lightning fast
No problems to speak of, traded with GO Markets as my main broker for 3 years , never had profits taken away from my self designed EA. they must have a very good reason for this BTN signal issue and from what I can see GO might have been attacked hence they took this action, they certainly wouldnt be crazy enough to jeapordise their licence with ASIC and their clients and it wouldnt suprise me if they take this further against BTN if the signal servcie did genuinley slow down the servers to take advantage of old prices which cant flow through to their liquidity
I would like GO to have trading central return as the signals were good and I dont like autochartist but my EA doesnt rely on this anyway
On a different note I'm glad they have moved back down to Melbourne as i'm nearby so if they do run off with my money lol i know where to find them
After 5k profit withdrawal from my account last week. They suspend my account saying that I trade illegally. I opened trade at the price I want and closed the trade at the price I want. I made loss. The only problem is profit is more than loss. They will freeze your account with all kind of reasons. Please think twice before putting your money into this broker. Scam 100%.
After a year of good service and supporting my winning trades (over 500% up) usinging my own EA, GoMartkers have accused me of manipulating the market and frozen my account with no withdrawals. Even though their website says EA's are ok: (http://www.gomarketsaus.com/why-go-markets/key-advantages/why-use-go-markets/) . Very bad service in my opinion, stay away guys!!
I have been traded with GO Markets for couple of years. But suddenly they suspended my MT4 trading account for some acceptable reasons. I have been mistreated, hence, I am prepared to file this suspension case to FSA/ASIC for a fair and even judgement to both parties.
In the interest of public benefit, I shall keep you all inform about the progress of this suspension case, including upload all their relevant emails and documents which GO Markets might forward to me in the near future.
For the time being, please keep a distance from "GO Markets" and other scammed brokers until further notice.
If you made profit from them for few months they will take it away, will suspend your account... I'm trading during news spikes.. having requotes and spread widening is normal, some of the trades got filled up and made profits... Doing that for 6 months, and now they want to take away all my profits... They are just telling me there is a price feed error without giving me any proofs... 2 years ago i experience same with other broker, but they email me the same day telling me that there has been a technical problem and will remove profit from that day and time when the trade has been made, and they give me proofs... Not same with this broker (gomarkets)... suspending my account and wants to take away all profits that I made for 6 months without any proofs... Stay away from this broker... scam scam scam...
Honest broker - Not good enough sevices
Live support is unfriendly and non-professional. They tend to push you away in chatting, because they can't answer rather difficult questions. They often ignore your difficult questions with no words, or say you have to look up more on the site.
Opening procedure is a little complicated
Market-trading volume on Gold (XAUUSD) is too small, which destroys your indicator signals.
I would be back with them when they have more clients so that the average trading volume of 1M Period would be increased.
GO Markets is a good FX broker and I am glad to finally see indicies on platform.. Took a while but finally there. Autochartist actually works too and have even taken some profit from the signals
as in continuation to my review about go markets aus(GMA) on 19/10/2011, i would like to mention that GMA has refunded me some of my trades, giving me benefit of doubt. i am humbled and would like to mention a special thanks for their customer service as my harsh language would have pushed the staff over the edge(my apologies). opening the account was quick n easy/so was using the credit card to top up, 24/7 support, good cutomer service. "better than average brokers out there, but room to improve". thx
Had a couple of hiccups having my account approved but once it was set up all is good.
Trading platform is easy to use but Iphone app is not as good . have been assured new app is a few weeks away so hopefully an improvement
i joined go markets and realized straight away that they are a terrible online broker. their feeds are delayed and often they have service outages, for example firewall issues where you are not able to login into the trading system. they have terrible slippage issues because their feeds are delayed and by the time the trade gets executed, its too late, and any scalpers out there will have nightmares trading with their system, they are not a direct market access broker which is also not advertised. you might as well go through your money in the bin, if you are day trading with these terrible people.
All u ppl talking about slippage and fill time are wrong. The reason why it "seems" that order filling a bit slow is for the fact that Go is an STP broker. That means that your trades are directly executed with InterBank. This is actually a proof that Go has no dealing desk to play around with your trading in order to rob you dry. So being an IT guy, I understand what it means to carry your order straight through to other systems and back. The real and honest fact is that I gained some unintended profits here and there from this STP profits!
The second thing I noticed with the comments was some ppl's tendency to blame the broker for their inexperienced trading. I have lost lots of money trading forext at first with Go and with others. But finally, I started the positive bottom line after long hours of market observation and training. So my point is that trading forex is not something to be taken as easy. Rather, it is a science that requires hard work and experience.
I withdrew profits, they reached my bank in less than 12 hours!!

Good MT4 feed for scalping , I dont trade the news but the accuracy of the feed makes short term trading much less complicated.
