In this video, you will learn about adding and removing windows inside your MetaTrader software. Below the chart is the terminal window. You can remove it by pressing the key combination Ctrl and T. Also, you can use the same key combination to bring it back.
Next is the navigator window. You can use the key combination Ctrl and N to remove it. You can also bring it back by pressing the same key combination.
By removing those windows that you don't need currently, you have more space for your charts, and you can analyze the price action better. Also, you can stay more focused with your technical analysis.
There is a toolbar below the main menu. Here, you can find buttons for various operations like periodicity, indicators list, etc. You can customize this toolbar by launching the window.
For example, you can keep the New Order item, so that you can place new orders using this button appearing below the main menu. You can also decide on whether you need buttons on the toolbar for bar chart, line chart, etc. You can also decide on which timeframes to keep, say the 1-min, 5-min, etc. It helps you to identify items in a glance and quickly launch those items.
