MT4 PROS:
1. Yes, it is user-friendly
2. Stable
3. Allows automated trading with a huge community behind it and thousands of free EAs available.
It does lack some things which may or may not be important to you, though.
CONS:
1. Charting is pretty good, but trend lines often look different on different timeframes.
2. Trailing stops are client-side, which means your MT4 terminal must be open for them to work.
3. No If/Then or OCO orders available, making it tougher to apply certain trading styles.
4. Some of the MT4 brokers are scams, and MetaQuotes knows it, yet does nothing about it.
Great analysis. Even i fully agree with you, even i have faced many problem with MT4, anyways i am using web based system which i feel is quite satisfying for me.

No FXexpert i havent tried it butt has heard quite good about it. If you wanna give try i think its worth it.

Answer to this is quite simple.
It is the only platform i have used. And so far i really have no reasons not to use it.
Tho there is one thing that bugs me and which i havent figured out yet is how to move indicators up and down cos im really lazy to delete them and then forcing the reorder through the selection order.

.i have heard some good points for some especially marketiva and etoro is great. but when it comes to select the best i would go with my broker only Ava fx till date i am satisfied with them so i can't take any other brokers name. so i would go with avafx. Bye...........trade nicely and take caution...........

The platform may look like a joke but it is actually quite serious. It lacks certain advanced functionality, but is not bad for novice traders. The biggest plus for me is that they have swap-free accounts.
The spreads are high, but I trade longer term so it's not such a big deal, particularly with the money saved in swap charges during the carry trade unwind. Intraday traders beware though, you'll be paying through your nose.
I have also had the platform crash on me a few times, so stability seems to be an issue.
Marketiva:
About the same level as eToro. Also swap-free accounts, which is great, but this broker is not for larger account holders as they limit the deal amounts to 300,000 units, and even that is only allowed after jumping through a few hoops. Their biggest advantage besides swap-free accounts is that they allow single unit deals though, allowing traders to stick to their money management regime very strictly.

I use ACMs advanced mobile platform and I love it
it has everything of a regular platform... but on my phone!!!!
Yea these day mobile trading is very famous and there is great increase in people who are using it. Even my broker Finexo.com has this feature.
TradeStation + Free Forex Data Feed
I like tradestation 8 with free forex real time data feed. Charts looks much better then in metatrader4, support many addons, great strategy tester perfomance report, most easy language for develop own indicators and strategies. [Link removed]
