Why do trading platform need updated??

Have you been thinking and asking your self, why do trading platform need updated??
This update is needed rapidly in short time..
I think its not normal,,,
what do think about this?

Updates fix bugs and add new features. What can be wrong with that?

The best reason I can think of, for updating trading platforms is to get the best performance from them by providing better features, fixing problem area (bug) and possibly security enhancements.

I still don't know why MetaQuotes don't force all trader update MT4 into MT5? They see MT5 a wrong version and never want all trader use it?
