When I try to install mt4 i get mt5

When I try to install mt4 from the metatrader page I keep getting mt5 which my broker does not support. We tried troubleshooting but could not get the mt4 download to install mt4. I end up with mt5. Any advice?

You can only download an MT4 installer from your broker. The official website has been giving MT5 instead of MT4 for several years now.

You can always use MT4 from different broker. All you need is to search their server.

Yes, when anyone try to download MT4 from metatrader site, it's automatically MT5. You can install MT4 From broker website.
