In my opinion, EURUSD is a pair that consistently trades with tight spreads, good daily movement, and is the most traded pair. GBPUSD is similar, both being the most traded major pairs in the forex market. Furthermore, USDJPY is also attractive to trade.

IMO nothing beats USDJPY. Cable, Euro, and other majors are boring. USDJPY is quite volatile intraday, good moves across all 3 sessions, and there is an underlying fundamental play when you look at BOJ vs Feds for those looking to trade longer term. That's the only pair I am trading.

I agree USDJPY is the one to watch this year. The BOJ versus Fed policy gap still drives clean trends and the intraday range is plenty across all three sessions. I keep EURUSD on the side for calmer days

It is because BOJ vs Fed policy keeps volatility and clean intraday legs. I still scan EURUSD, but most of my 2026 plays come from yen momentum and London continuation

I like to trade in a mix of options, not just one pair. Besides EURUSD, I also explore other pairs like GBPUSD, AUDUSD, XAUUSD, XAGUSD, and more. It depends on the level of risk I'm willing to take.

In 2026 I’d still keep eyes on the classics.

EUR/USD isnt going anywhere. Liquidity is king.
GBP/USD if you like movement.
USD/JPY for policy drama.

Also watch gold correlated pairs when risk sentiment shifts.

One thing people ignore is broker spreads on these majors. Even 0.2 difference matters long term. I usually double check comparisons on TopAsiaFX before choosing where to trade them.
