trying to learn using thinkorswim paper money. does not seem to work well

so, playing with paper money trying to learn using TOS. buying EUS/USD:

-why are my limit orders not filled when the price indicated on TOS chart and tile has fallen well below (.002) the limit price?
- then I change it to market; both chart and tile on TOS show 1.1966 buy, but market order executes at 1.1972. what am i missing? The "buy" price did not go to that level for another 15 minutes. I trade stocks a bit (etrade) and never have this issue.

I think I figured it out. the information on TOS charts and tiles seems to be 15 minutes behind - even when placing an order. Not very useful for learning.

Do I understand correctly that you are based in the USA? If so, I would recommend switching to Oanda or Forex.com to use the MetaTrader 4 platform.
