Just recently, the US White House nominated and might replace the current Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke by Janet Yellen when he leaves his office in January 2014. Though it still needs confirmation, but yet if it does then Yellen would be the first woman ever to be Chairman of the US Federal Reserve.

In addition, Yellen is known to be dovish meaning she’s more in favor of unemployment rate which is good for the US economy, and that it can be assured that QE3 will not be tampered with.

I think she is a terrible choice, but then again so was Bernanke. I disagree with your statement that her dovish approach will be good for the economy.
