New Trader- Raw account any good?

Hi,

I have been testing out on the demo account for a few months now and ready to make the move to the live . I noticed that a lot of brokers offer standard and raw accounts. Does the raw account actually work out cheaper to trade on?

If by raw accounts you mean ECN accounts with raw spreads + commission, it might be a cheaper choice for high volume trading with multiple positions per day. For normal swing trading and long-term trading, standard accounts might be more suitable.
