A rather significant upgrade to the MetaTrader 5 platform was released by MetaQuotes yesterday - Build 4230. It can now be retrieved from your broker's server via the update feature. Thew new version focuses on adding more built-in indicators and EAs and on improving support for coding neural networks:

- Added 11 new indicators (mostly various very simple channels) and 28 new expert advisors (to trade candlestick patterns).
- Improved margin requirements section of instrument specification to show more details.
- Added a link to the official Telegram channel to the Help menu.
- Added a link to the newly released MQL5 Programming for Traders book to the Help menu.
- Added an option to shut down the terminal once the execution script finishes. This can be used when launching the terminal from the command line to perform some specific task.
- Improved protection of everything connected to MQL5.com Market products.
- Removed support of Signals service for demo accounts. It's now advised to use the new reports feature if you were using the Signals service to analyze your performance.
- Improved selection of the best server when getting a virtual server from MetaQuotes.
- Updated translations of the user interface.
- Added a
MQL_STARTED_FROM_CONFIG
property to theENUM_MQL_INFO_INTEGER
enumeration to check whether the current program was launched as a part of the terminal's startup configuration. - Added more floating point types to use in ONNX models.
- Added new matrix and vector methods.
- Updated ONNX runtime to version 1.17.
- Updated Python integration package.
- Added a
DEAL_REASON_CORPORATE_ACTION
property to theENUM_DEAL_REASON
enumeration to mark deals that are result of some corporate action (mostly to be used in shares trading). - Fixed color type variables conversion to text.
- Improved the built-in search.
- Added support for AVX, AVX2 and AVX512 modes when compiling an MQL5 program from the command line.
- Updated SQLite engine to version 3.45.
- Completely switched from Internet Explorer to Microsoft Edge WebView2 as the internal HTML renderer.
- Fixed calculation of triple swaps in the Strategy Tester when the test starts on a triple swaps day.
- Implemented some other fixes and improvements.
