limiting the number of values in an indicator

In an EA, How can I limit the number of bars used to initially calculate an indicator like iStochastic?

What's the point? I don't think that you can do that from MQL code. You can limit the number of bars in the chart where you attach your EA to.

the point is that, when an indicator needed to be used on a pair which is not charted.
