We use a form of genetic programming, an algorithm from artificial intelligenceto search for statistical patterns in forex price series and develop technical indicators to exploit those features. Our algorithm constantly creates and evaluates rules from a 128 dimensional search space, making up a total of 2×10537 possible patterns. That’s a 2 and 537 zeros. As a comparison, the universe is estimated to be home of 1×1078 atoms, a one with 78 zeros.
