I know plenty of technical traders, me included, often tend to forget the release of a major economic report which often does influence price action temporarily. Some like to check an economic calendar every day in order to find out what will be released during the session, but I found it more helpful to set-up a reminder.
I am currently using the Windows calendar and each Sunday I will fill in all the economic reports which matter to my trading with reminders so they pop-up and I will not forget or miss them. I found it solved my problems with forgetting economic reports; maybe it will help a few of you guys out as well.
