Bonus or Self rebate

Neither. Deposit bonuses usually come with significant strings attached. Rebates are just stupid. If the broker wants me to spend less on spreads, it should just lower them.
I'm yet to see such a thing. I guess it would fall under the "too good to be true" category.
Why, as a business manager in brokers, I can clearly tell everyone that the deposit bonus can only be used to losses and the rebate is only paid after the trade is closed. But at Vantage, you can have both!
