At least 30 Pakistanis were killed Saturday in separate, deadly attacks by various military powers in the region.

12 were reported killed in a U.S. airstrike on the town of Waziristan.

6 were killed when a suicide bomber attacked a checkpoint.

12 more were killed when a suicide truck bomb exploded at a checkpoint.

Violence in Pakistan has been escalating over the past few years as the country becomes a more volatile and uncontrolled region. Attacks have moved from the lawless, tribal regions to major cities and towns which contain millions of people. These killings show the clear need for stronger governance, security and political stability in Pakistan.
