This is the mindset of a scalper maybe?
I leave my emotions at the table I like to feel calm and stress free as possible.
Aggression has little place in trading
It gives a good grounding when you can make successful trades on demo .
Sure it lacks the emotional side of trading but the practice is hugely beneficial
I was in a FB group it was well moderated .
There were a few traders whom offered help mostly by way of pdfs chart analysis etc
That was a big help just to be pointed in the right direction
There's a few factors to consider.
Assets to trade spreads commissions withdrawals speeds .
Trading platform available Support is a big one .
Leverage the list goes on really
Joining up to forums like here is a good start .
Also Babypips Forex.academy and Forexpeacearmy are full of free trading content.
Lots of free content on YT also.
Demo Demo and demo some more it's a risk free way of learning the art of trading.
Good luck
Literally just signup to a reputable broker or one that suits your trading requirements.
I always advise new traders to stay on demo for at least 4 months until they can master 1 pair with 1 strategy
I do this part time along with part time or casual delivery driver.
What's great is its all on pallets so I have time in the depots to do trading related stuff.
No lifting mostly driving I like been PT and I do the weekends it's better pay
It's much.less so now .
Starting of I found it hard to grasp margin requirements , calculating pips Sell limit Sell stop etc
It does get easier it's practice practice practice
As others have said its s great way to get to grips with a new strategy and a new broker also.
You can fine tune entries exits etc
Also thd data feed may not be as accurate but it's quite close
I still to this day use demo accounts for fine tuning or adjustment on my strategy.
I can't stress the importance enough so much so other people point it out to me lol
Spreads and commissions.
Support I feel is important some are 24/7 some ordinary business hours.
I like to trade Crypto so that's a factor for me maybe not others .
Available asset classes the list goes on !
I'm like a record on repeat talking about the importance of demo but I feel quite strongly about it .
If more novices stayed on demo for longer there would be more successful traders
Number 4 stay on demo .
It's a risk free way of learning your craft .
Backtesting your strategy to see if it has an edge .
Maybe study the basics again it's no harm we've all been there
