You can try to lean on Relative Strenght Index. I think that it is great indicator of overbought and oversold market. Try to figure out how to apply this indicator in your trading method. You will find a pattern and you just need to follow it
As Momo previously said, invest only capital for which you will be ok to lose. Dont overtrade and dont enter into revenge trading. Keep your emotions in peace and never jump into conclusions, before your check your charts again
If your broker is serious one, than he will provide you with demo account which is a copy of real account. Everything should be the same on demo including technical analysis tools.
If you intend to live from forex, start planning your future from very first point. Equip yourself with good knowledge and build your skills and strategy during time. Dont forget that you will also need to have substantial capital invested in order to generate enough profits
Agree with Danmm. Both markets are offering plenty of opportunities for earning some extra money. Which one will a trader choose is his choice. For me, both markets are perfectly fine

I have no idea what will happen with BTC in the future. But, as long as there is volatility and liquidity on this market, I will be there to chase profits. If that stops, I am out of this market. Keep it simple
I like all that I have read in this post. It shows that anyone can be a trader, it does not matter what is your main occupation. There I see beauty of forex. Would you agree on that? Btw, I have an office job.
I am looking for a broker for day trading, otherwise brokers mainly offer platforms with super high commissions and swaps, as a result I buy indices in the long term, and all profits are eaten up by commissions (I trade on a demo account)
I find forums as very useful place where you can get interesting information and good tips. It is sort of communication between like-minded people, where we all understand each other and are ready to help each other.
Grace, I agree with you. Certainly spreads will always widen in highly volatile markets, because they need to account for a risk. On the other side, I would say that short term traders, like scalpers depend on low brokers spreads as it might impact significantly their profitability.
Enivid, I totally agree with you. When a trader is on a market, he needs reliable broker to support execution of his strategy. That includes also low spreads. Rebate sounds like extra side cash, but I dont see its point, if brokers spreads are fair.
Very interesting topic. I am still investigating hedging of positions in forex. Unfortunately, until now I dont have any smart strategy, except classical ones like FX futures and FX options, but they somehow dont fit into my strategy. Can anyone help?
Son Ann, I actually could not understand well when exactly you become nervous when trading? It seems that you are trading on contests, so you probably have double pressure, one from your open trade and the other to cope with other contest participants on the market
