I would rather ask is does forex always result in losses for a newbie? :-D To be profitable from the beginning means that you are a REALLY patient person and you didn't rush to go LIVE, but really took it easy and decided to practice first! Sounds great, I must say :)

I think you should take other people's advice with a pinch of salt.. Of course you should be grateful when you receive advice from experienced traders but I'm not too keen on following other people's strategies, I prefer working on my own system

No, they don't... and from what I've read the NDD or ECN brokers are best, although you should be cautious when chosing one- just in case :D This is based on what I've read and some of my experience on DEMO accounts.... so maybe we need a pro's advice to be on the safe side :D
