Facebook plans to launch 'GlobalCoin' currency in 2020

Facebook is expected to outline plans in more detail this summer and has already spoken to Bank of England governor Mark Carney.

What do you think, Will the Facebook crypto-currency work??

It will work as any other centralized electronic payment system (like WebMoney or Perfect Money) works, except it will be heavily pushed by Facebook's marketing department. It has little to do with cryptocurrencies at all.

KEY POINTS: Libra and bitcoin are different in a lot of ways, from the technology behind them to the way they’re used.

So it will not be cryptocurrency at all ? I bet it will be something like for example Paypal which a lot of people in the world still can't even receive no matter what you say to them anyway. Thanks in advance for clarifying this. Do good things there.

Yes, lot of people in Europe do not really like it cause it's not backed up like some real currencies which is backed by real services so I do not see anything good with it. Mastercard and Visa also run away from that GlobalCoin aka Libra.
