Newbie Question - PIP price

Hi

I am somewhat of a newbie with FX and MT4 so I am hoping someone can help me with what must sound like a simple question.

I have recently purchased a EA and am running it on a demo MT4 account.

My simple question is that I have produced a detailed trade report from MT4 but I am trying to work out how much each pip has been worth per trade.

In the report I have the size, the (buy/sell) price, the take profit price and the profit.

I thought I worked it out but my logic seemed to be inconsistent.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Pip value of a deal = Profit / ((Exit - Entry) / 0.0001) (or 0.01 if we are talking about JPY pairs)
