leverage can either help you gain more money or lose money. It has been a great disadvantage to greedy traders and vice versa. As a trader that knows what leverage is, what do you think is the best leverage suitable for an average trader and which do you use?

Well, my trading equity is above 50K! That means, I have enough spaces here for using standard trading lot size! This is way, right now I am using 1:50 leverage in my live trading account! By the way, I am not against of high leverage facility, if you strategy supports you high trading leverage then of course you can play with a high leverage! But, be logical to select the leverage feature in your live account!

In my view the size of the credit shoulder can't influence trade, it can only help traders with a small deposit enter the deal. Everyone chooses for themselves what is convenient for them.

Yes, I agree with you. Every one has different trading styles and techniques in choosing the leverage at their own choice and convenience :)

My account is always set at 1:100 leverage, however, I generally limit leverage to about 1:10 per trade entry. The surplus leverage provides a buffer against volatile market conditions and the ability to take advantage of "no brainer" opportunities that appear from time to time.

My trading strategy doesn’t require high trading leverage so right now I am make-dealing with 1:100 trading leverage! This is the best leverage parameter to me! Before I used 1:200, but I have reduced it one year ago, I am much comfortable with this ratio.

Through my research:
Some brokers really offer high leverage as Exness provide 1:2000 leverage and hotforex 1:1000, but these such leverages are only for micro or mini accounts (< 500$), with larger fund account that can trade substantial number of lots, your leverage normally are smaller (<1:500).

It's not only about exness. justforex I work with offers even 1:3000 but I've never tries this. 1:500 or even 1:200 would be ok, but I was young too and used to trade with 1:1000, can't say what was my motivation :D maybe making more money, hah, thanks God I haven't lost too much

Everyone has different ways or techniques of negotiation to choose what suits them, that is a matter of wisdom.

According to my trading system, it’s 1:100! But I don’t know your parameters; so no way to mention any number for you.
