, SWITZERLAND.

A top class broker

, United States.

I have had a very rough go with this company, no matter how much money I earn with them, I can never make a withdrawal. I have posted a video about my experience on Youtube, just put Trading Point Review in the search box, or go to my channel, Traders Friend and You will find my review. I am a real trader with nothing to gain from this review, except to help other traders save their hard earned money

, Finland.

I have been trading with TP for about 4-5 months now. Prior to that I did some heavy research on different brokers and ended up with TP.

I tried all types of trading, contacted customer support with ALL kinds of questions (hours of chat conversations)..and I am satisfied with them overall.

Few things to mention:

Some customer support staff members are less qualified then others...their solution to technical MT4 question was like "did you try to restart it, sir?". But..luckily in these situations they switch to more qualified person and the issue is solved, no problems. Couple of weeks ago the spreads were very high, yes, but that's because of general market situation, otherwise the spreads are quite low (eurusd 1.8-2.4, usdjpy 1.7-2.3) and the execution (even during the news spike!!) is fairly fast.

While reading all the negative comments and accusations: "they're scum..just because I say so", it seems like those complaining people just do not know what they're doing. I guess some did not even bother to properly contact customer support, some did not include all the details properly, some did not bother to read/understand the reply, some are just very negative by nature and really like to complain and accuse, some just can not do forex and when loosing money they try to find reasons for that in others but themselves.

I remember personally talking in chat with TP's representative here, Chris A. Zacharia. All of those in doubt after the negative accusation here, do read Chris's responses, you will see that all the silly accusations have no ground at all.

Dear Mr. CHEN,

It is our goal as always to publicly and transparently answer to all reviews, feedback and complaints, below I have addressed the issues which you have commented about.

1. No Chinese Service:

Please note that Trading Point does not advertise, post or state that it offers Chinese Customer Service.

2. In regards to your withdrawal:

On the 9th of August you requested a withdraw for 5000 USD which our back office received and sent you a response that your Bank does not permit more than 3500 USD to be sent to the credit card directly so he kindly requested that you send it in 2 separate requests one for 3500 USD to your credit card and one for 1500 USD to your bank account.

On the 12th of August you sent the exact same request as the one on the 9th and you received the exact same response from our backoffice.

Finally on the 18th of the month you sent in 2 separate requests as instructed and your funds were sent successfully.

The 9 days delay was not an issue related to Trading Point but clearly due to the fact that you did not follow the instructions sent by our backoffice which would allow you receive your funds in 2 working days which is Standard Procedure.

Dear Customer with the Title Duped,

First of all thank you for deciding to try Trading Point; in regards to your comments I have provided an explanation for each and every point you mention.

Please note that we do not have your Account Number so if you wish to directly talk to me or a representative of Trading Point for further explanations it would be optimal.

In regards to Deposit/Withdrawal Fees

In contrast to most licensed brokers which charge between 1.6% to 2.5% on deposit and withdraw when a deposit or withdraw is made by Credit Card at Trading Point NO charges apply what so ever.

As for Neteller or Moneybookers charges occurring during deposits or withdrawals are reimbursed to your trading balance within 24 hours during the

business week.

In the case of Wire Transfers, Trading Point covers all the fees associated with our bank both when receiving funds from customers and when sending funds to customers. However some banks charge an “INWARD PAYMENT SWIFT FEE” which is something Trading Point cannot control or cover.

In regards to the Bonus

As noted in the relevant page of our website http://www.trading-point.com/forex-bonus and in the terms of use of the welcome bonus http://www.trading-point.com/download/docs/welcome-bonus.pdf it is 100% clear that welcome bonuses are deducted during a withdraw request.

In regards to Spreads

Trading Point offers variable spreads similar to the Interbank market meaning that spreads are narrower during high volatility times and less narrow during less volatile hours. However a 4 pips spread on a major is still very high so please send me an email with your account number at chris@trading-point.com and we will look in to it immediately to see what might have gone wrong.

Summing up; I don’t feel that it is fair to state that you feel reviews are not true before you have personally interpreted the terms of use of both the website and the trading platform of Trading Point. Posting reviews which are non accurate or have been derived from lack of understanding of trading conditions does not in any way assist making reviews true and accurate.

Thank you,

When I opened my account with Trading point, I was elated. My account manager seemed amazing, I could hedge, they gave me a bonus and I was in heaven. I opened with $250.00 just to give them a shot. However when I looked at my bank statement they'd charged me 1% on my deposit. When I asked them about it they continued to tell me that it was my bank. That for me was a sign to never make another deposit. It was only $2.50 and my account was growing well so no biggie. After a month, I decided to try a withdrawal of a little less than %10 of my account to see how smooth the transition would be. That is when the real dilemma started. First they took away my bonus, then after about 5/6 days I saw nothing in my bank account, though they took it from my forex account right away; so I begin contacting them. The 7th day, I spoke with another account manager and was told that it was a problem with my bank. First she said it was with my account then it was with my bank. This is the second time that a financial problem with this company has been blamed on my bank and after checking with my bank 3 times, they said, had they charged me any fees, then It would have shown separately on my account and not as one transaction. I was so hoping that I'd finally found an honest forex company outside of the US. Seeing the review made me give this company a try, but my experience has been a horrible one, aside from my initial account manager.

I also read here about the great spreads, it is not true either, many times during slower markets like Sunday and the Asian markets the pips spread is about 4 average. I am sorry that I found these lying reviews for this broker and I am the sadder for it

Dear Mark,

As noted to another client on FPA, I would like to make it very clear that it is impossible that Trading Point has sent you an official email with an invitation for a no deposit bonus as the last time a no deposit bonus invitation was circulated was June 11th 2011.

In addition to personal invitations limited circulation offers are in rare cases offered on specific websites and customers which originate from these websites are permitted to claim No Deposit Bonus offers.

Please check the source of the mail you have received and you will notice that it was not sent by Trading Point officially.

Complaints often circulate about sites or affiliates trying to sign up clients to Trading Point by offering them expired offers and this is something we are aware of.

We take every measure possible to prevent this but however as you can understand it is sometimes impossible to control and understand what is sent to unsuspicious email recipients and from whom it is sent.

When events of a partner or an affiliate engaging in these types of practices are noticed and tracked please rest assure that partner accounts are suspended on the spot for violation of Terms and Conditions.

Thank you,

I received an e-mail from the broker stating that I got a no-deposit bonus of $ 20 if sign up through that link. I have registered and wait for more than 72 hours but the bonus does not appear in my account. I purposely did not contact them because I want to prove that the bonus is automatically reflected in 24-48 hours. Apparently the promotion is a lie.

Here is part of e-mail :

"Register a real account here, and allow 24-48 hours for the $ 20 credit to Appear in your new trading account. That only account have been registered by following the links in this exclusive mailers Will qualify for the $ 20 No Deposit Bonus as this is an exclusive offer limited circulation."

Dear Mr. Ahmed Tohamy,

Following up to you post below which describes Trading Point as a “scam” please kindly note the below very, very carefully.

From our research your account is Account Number: 17320

You have filed for a withdraw 2 times in the first week of August 2011 and our backoffice clerk has responded with an email in 2 instances asking you to submit or email your documents (copy of your ID and a utility bill ) which is a standard procedure from all licensed brokers across the world according to the procedures set by regulators to prevent Money Laundering.

In both cases you have not responded and have not uploaded or emailed your documents but have followed up with another withdrawal request.

Please note once again that your withdraw will not be processed if you do not upload your documents; this is something which has been noted to you in the email sent you by our backoffice.

Please be more sensible in the future before you post words like “Scam” on respected forex forums. You have opened an account with a licensed and regulated forex broker and the words which you use above have no space within the boundaries of our principles or within the boundaries of any EU regulated broker.

Dear DJ,

“NO matter what when I trade on my real acct and buy or sell silver contracts they get crapped on but yet on my demo acct that happens rarely. I find it very fishy especially given the fact that silver contracts can be the most profitable for traders (or for the broker in my case apparently).”

Although I could not locate your account as you have not included your full name I would like to note the following as this is a very common problem with our customers.

Your demo account is mirroring a Standard Account which is denominated in Standard Lots, while your Real Account is most likely a Micro Account which is denominated in Micro Lots.

What this means is the following: On a demo aacount when let’s say you buy 1 lot this value reflects to 1 Standard lot; while when trading with a real account, in the case that your account type is other than standard your floating profit or loss will be 100 times smaller or larger respectively compared to a trade executed at the same price on a demo account as in reality 1 Standard Lot = 100 Micro Lots.

I hope I have made this clear and have eliminated any thought for any possible fishy practice by our end.

-----

Dear Mr. T.Jordanov,

“Sorry, I don't know who write all those reviews above but I have tried them on a demo account and their spread is 4.2 pips on EURUSD !!!”

The interbank forex market has variable spreads and so does Trading Point; what this means is that because we have taken the decision to offer variable or floating spreads due to our Execution Model during times of low volatility you might see higher spreads even on majors however during liquid hours and hours of high volatility spreads are narrower reaching at the lowest 1 pip on EURUSD and on average on 1.9 on the same pair noted above.

In an effort to be as transparent as possible with our customers Trading Point has always published its spreads on all instruments at this link http://www.trading-point.com/download/files/tp_spreads.pdf which is visible on our website under Trading Conditions therefore guaranteeing transparency and fairness.

Thank you,

I generally like TP however I have a major issue. NO matter what when I trade on my real acct and buy or sell silver contracts they get crapped on but yet on my demo acct that happens rarely. I find it very fishy especially given the fact that silver contracts can be the most profitable for traders (or for the broker in my case apparently).

Sorry, I don't know who write all those reviews above but I have tried them on a demo account and their spread is 4.2 pips on EURUSD !!!

Official Representative of Trading Point.

Dear Mr. Tao,

From our records it seems that you received a withdrawal of $126 on the 27th of July 2011 (27/7/2011), after it was processed by backoffice.

Please be noted that although withdrawal requests are normally processed within one business day it might take up to three business days for a withdrawal request to be met if the backoffice desk considers it necessary to further verify documents or proof of residency which are printed in a language other than English.

I would advise that you always confirm with your account manager on the status of your withdrawals before you post reviews that contain the word "scam" which do not fit in the boundaries of our institution.

Thank you,
