Soybeans Rally, Other Grains Follow

February 26, 2015 at 20:20 by Vladimir Vyun

Soybeans gained today due to concerns about disruption of Brazilian supply. Brazil’s exports may not reach their destinations as truck drivers were protesting for the ninth day against high fuel prices. Yesterday, the oilseed fell due to profit-taking.

Other grains followed in gains. Wheat also demonstrated gains though they were limited because of concerns about global surplus and weak demand.

May contract for silver advanced as much as $10.265 per bushel as of 20:16 GMT on CBoT today. Wheat gained 0.65 percent to $5.005 per bushel. Futures for corn rallied 1.24 percent to $3.885 per bushel.
