Rubber can by divided in two types, depending on its source: natural and synthetic. Rubber is mostly used in production of tires. It is also used for creating rainwear and diving gear. Medical, chemical and textile industries make use of the commodity too. Supply of natural rubber is mainly driven by weather, while demand for the commodity for the most part depends on car production (the industry accounts for about 70 percent of global consumption).
