Bitcoin Transactions Declining With Prices (Corrected Chart)

Bitcoin transactional volume dropped to 26.5K by July 2, from a high of 71K on May 11,  surpassing the prior highs near 70K on the 10th days of March and April. Meanwhile, the Bitcoin price is the lowest since mid-April, when it briefly fell below $70. It fell steadily throughout the day from $90.90 at the high to a low today, according to Mt. Gox, of $76.00, before rising back to $81.50.

The Coinbase chart originally posted a few days ago was incorrect, so an updated chart is posted below.
