Major Forex Broker Lists Update

April 7, 2012 by

Today I’ve upgraded the broker listing system to a new version. It now features more information for each broker and offers more informative lists. Additionally, new categories have been added:

Some exciting features of the new Forex broker list:

  • Countries in the main lists.
  • The lists now show whether broker accepts traders from US.
  • Noticeable icons to mark ‘not-for-US‘, ‘featured’, ‘scam’ and ‘out-of-business‘ brokers.
  • Notices about IB relationship or acquisition of the broker.
  • Separate ‘founded in’ and ‘online since’ dates.
  • Expandable lists on Forex broker description pages.
  • List of platforms available for demo.
  • List of regulators.
  • Lists of website and support languages.
  • List of support options.
  • Trading server timezone.
  • Special conditions.
  • Account types, including min/max size, spreads, position size, commission, list of platforms, list of trading instruments (with associated leverage), etc.
  • Links to open demo/real account and contract specifications.
  • Search brokers using 60+ parameters.
  • Sort search results.

If you find any bugs or have your own suggestions regarding the broker listing system, please feel free to post them via the form below.

I knew your blog for a very long time and just re-discover today, so I subscribe not to forget anymore! ;-) So many information sources now on the web …

I was interested by your MT5 broker list. 2 remarks :
    1. I was quit surprized you did not mention Alapri :
    2. It is not so clear which broker offer demo and/or real account on MT5

    1. Alpari will get listed as soon as they will provide more information about their MT5 accounts on their website.
    2. All brokers listed on offer real trading accounts. with MetaTrader 5. If you find some that do not, please let us know.
