A Rather Strange US Broker — ICM Brokers

September 20, 2010 by

The latest addition to the list of Forex brokers on is ICM Brokers. It’s a rather strange MetaTrader Forex broker that claims to be registered in United States but isn’t regulated by NFA or CFTC. Most probably it’s set up as an offshore LLC in US but isn’t registered as a tax payer and doesn’t have a bank account there. Apart from that, it offers quite standard conditions — $500 minimum with mini-lots and flexible leverage from 1:100 to 1:400. Other highlights of ICM Brokers include:

  • Gold and silver trading (and a lot of other instruments).
  • PayPal, WebMoney and credit cards as the methods of payment.
  • Limited demo accounts.
  • Paper documents are required to be physically sent.
