Risk = Lack of Knowledge. The currency itself or the trade and the market is not risky, it is the traders lack of knowledge which adds risk for them to their trade.

I have positive results on a weekly base. I do not recall loosing money over a five day period especially since I have added my brokers trading recommendations to my overall trading.

Yes, there are plenty of marketing tricks out there to fool less experienced traders into it and sadly a lot of people do not take the time to read the fine print. It is quite a challenge to find the few good offers out there.
