Many free Forex expert advisors and indicators for MetaTrader 4 and 5 are offered on this site and many other websites on-line. That’s one of the main reason why the MetaTrader platform is so popular — the traders enjoy a lot of free user-created content that is shared and discussed by the community. I like sharing the indicators and EAs that I write and I also share any interesting that I find in other places. MetaQuotes Software does a great job in hosting a nice code base for their platform. But I wonder — how many traders really use them. How many of you have ever downloaded and used some custom piece of code for MT4 or MT5? I’m not talking about the paid Forex software here, I mean only free indicators and EAs that are available on-line:
