what kind of lag? opening position in the middle of candle instead of at the begining? If yes, i've tried to put sort of a minute slippage, so it won't OP after x minute since candle open. Oya, i put the EA in M15-H4 chart. IMHO most losses is because OBOS and silly mistake ie buy when MA heavily bearish, so I believe once it's well filtered it would hopefuly be better. At least when it find "never learned" situation this filter will do some guiding.

could you please explain about the SaveKohonenMap in deinit, does it mean it only save the "lesson" when it's just off? so if i run it a year without deinit it, where is the data stored and does the data still "involved" in OP decision?

thx for your kindly replay, some coders here have been experimenting with this EA for months, we'll appreciate if u can give a little enlightment :)

Adding filters only hurts, because any additional indicator adds its own lag to the trading process.

btw, andrei, have u tried to add some classic filters such as MAs, stoch, or maybe RSI? I found that sometime it can help avoiding selling in oversold or buying in strong bearish. And what about asian session? Could it be better work time instead of bussy hours?

Of course, in second backtesting it will be lossless. But it's not meant for backtesting. The EA records the successful patterns and tries to compare the new data to these patterns judging if it's good point to enter a position.

something suspicious about the rl.txt file... is it really neural or just peeping the history...? it's good when it meets data that it ever met, but lossing badly in brand new data. In other words: it's only good in second backtesting and more, but not in real. Correct me if i'm wrong.
