Xforex — Web Based Broker without Demo (Actually It Has Demo Accounts)

February 15th, 2008

Xforex is a Forex broker that I added to the broker lists on my site today. It’s not a new Forex broker at all — it operates on-line since 2003. It has only a web-based trading platform which is optimized for IE, but it also works with Firefox too (though there may be some glitches). Trading platform itself is rather poor (in terms of indicators and automation), but it loads fast. Special Muslim accounts are available for appropriate customers. Unfortunately there are no demo accounts available, so, if you want to try trading with them, you have to deposit at least $50 via credit card or a wire transfer.

Update: I was contacted by the representative of Xforex and he said that they offer demo accounts on request and also provide demo accounts through their Canadian website.

Trading on it for the last 8 months… Very stable platform and a great service … don’t know about the rest

Basically this is a very good platform. Fast and quite reliable and they’ve got helpful staff. They say they’re giving a $500 joining bonus at the moment – although actually it’s 20% of what you deposit, up to $500. But anyway it’s still worth it I reckon.

I heard some good things about the platform but wanted to check it first. When I chatted with their support, they suggested the best way to learn to trade was via a live account not a demo. Go figure.

    RJ,

Actually they are right somewhat about real accounts versus demo. Leaning on real accounts is better because it brings real emotions into your trading. But I’d suggest trading with a very small amount of money if you want to learn on real account. Then you can consider the amount you lose as a “payment” for your education.

These people are a complete scam. They have not returned my 22k with them and they refuse to reply back to my emails or chats. They infact even sent money via Bank wire to my account and then in 24 hours reclaimed the money back. I have all the evidence to prove that are a complete SCAM. Please someone help me get my hard earned money from them. They blocked my access so that I cannot withdraw any of money from them. They have commited internet and wire fraud.

An update from my previous post, the customer care of the company on dealt with the dispute in a professional manner in due course, further to me employing a 3rd party professional to discuss the dispute with them. The issues were resolved amicably in the end and we reached a settlement which was satisfactory to both parties. Therefore I have to say that what I said on my earlier post does not apply

    Hi Hemang,
I have similar problem with xforex like you. I want my money back, can you let me know who is the 3rd party professional scam detective or debt recovery organisation that you used to deal with xforex to recover your money?
